LIBC Staff
No ministry can properly function without dedicated staff. God has blessed this ministry with faithful, dedicated volunteers and staff who are tireless in their efforts to bring God glory through the ministry of the local church. From our church cleaning families to our Bible Study Fellowship teachers, Deacons, and Pastor, everyone works together for the purpose of glorifying God and evangelizing the world.
Pastor
Pastor Timothy York
Pastor York, his wife Sheryl, and their children began to call Lancaster home in June of 2005. God burdened them to impact the lives of Lancaster residents with the gospel of Jesus Christ by founding Lancaster Independent Baptist Church . Pastor has served in ministry with youth, finances, AWANA clubs, music, grounds maintenance, and a myriad of other service opportunities. Sheryl has served faithfully in music, nursery, finance and teaching. God continues to use them to touch hearts and lives as they faithfully serve Him.
Deacons
Jim and Sandy Clark
Jim and Sandy moved their family from Fairfax , VA after Jim's retirement from the Navy in 2006 for the express purpose of assisting the ministry of Lancaster Independent Baptist Church. Jim is our church treasurer and along with Sandy he leads our King's Kids Club ministry during the school year. Together with their five children, Jim and Sandy have a heart to help wherever help is needed.
Mike and Jackie York
Mike and Jackie have been here since the inception of Lancaster Independent Baptist Church . Mike serves as the primary sound booth operator and trainer, Bible Study Fellowship Superintendent, and contributions treasurer while Jackie is our Bible Study Fellowship secretary and Junior Church teacher. They also coordinate activities for the Seasoned Saints, and they are Pastor's parents.
Teen Leaders
Adam and Tabitha Rothacker
Adam and Tabitha came to the Church in July of 2006. Adam has the heart of a teenager and a unique ability to relate to the youth of our church. Along with Tabitha and their two children, they are seeking to minister to the youth of Lancaster with single-minded determination and purpose. Their desire is to see a generation of young people raised to serve God in any walk of life.
